Gutsy move

We've done well over a hundred weddings and for the most part they are fairly typical when it comes to the traditions at the reception. First dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, dollar dance and toasts are pretty much your staples.

Once in a rare while though, something a little different happens. Something that takes the crowd and us by complete surprise. It's usually unexpected and  always entertaining. Of course I'm talking about the elusive "Groom sings to the Bride" event.

It's always very sweet but usually the groom picks a song well out of his range. Fortunately, Erik picked a song right in his wheelhouse and I think earned major brownie points from his bride Erin. Enjoy!

A note of thanks

I have always resisted posting the many thank yous that we get from our couples after we have finished with their wedding DVD. Not because we don't appreciate them (because we certainly do) but more because I see them everywhere and I always thought couples would rather see our work than read praises from our clients.

However, when I received the below email from one of our brides from almost six years ago, I decided to post it. It's always nice when one of our past couples drops us a note to let us know how they are doing. It's even nicer when they let us know how much they appreciate the work we did for them.

Dear Chad:

I just watched the highlight video from my wedding (for the millionth time) and had to write to thank you yet again for a fabulous job! Our wedding photographer never produced a wedding album for us so all we have from our wedding day is the video shot by Brazos Video - and what a treasure it is. Not only do I have something tangible I can turn to when I want to relive that beautiful day, I have a something wonderfully done that makes me feel like I am actually at my wedding day again.
I hope your business is doing well and if you ever need a reference I would be glad to share my incredible experience with your clients. I can't tell you enough how much Brazos Video means to me and my husband.

Much Luck and All Our Best,

Todd and Katherine Knight
